Besides consultations and official certifications, the firm also represents the client with official bodies and in court. The careful processing of a case comprises a serious appraisal of the risks and possibilities of taking an action. We have multilingual secretarial staff that assists our domestic and foreign clients.
Company History
Dr. iur. Bernardo Lardi founded the law firm and notary public's office in Samedan in 1971. Following his time as a Member of the Governing Council of Graubünden from 1979 to 1986, he re-opened the law firm in Chur. In 1991 Dr. iur. Peter Nemelka joined as partner. Following his passing in 1996, lic. iur. Karin Caviezel started joined the firm. From 2000 to 2005 the partners were supported by lic. iur. HSG Arno Lombardini, who joined the firm as an intern, but later became a partner. lic. iur. Mauro Lardi LL.M. started in 2004 as an intern and became a partner of the firm in 2006. At the beginning of 2007, lic.iur. Ylenia Baretta joined the law firm as a legal co-worker. Lic. iur. Ylenia Baretta is a Partner since 2008. Die Partner der Kanzlei Lardi & Partner While at first the areas of civil law and official certification were at the centre of the firm's services, several other areas have also taken precedence now including social insurance, liability law and victim support law. The firm distinguishes itself through the multilingualism of the attorneys and secretarial staff. Besides German and Italian, services are also offered in English.

After a long period in Belmontstrasse 1, Chur, the offices are now located in the Ortlieb von Brandis Haus, one of the oldest buildings in Chur. The office at Reichsgasse 65 is situated directly across from the Town Hall. Offices are set in original gothic and renaissance styled rooms, with an open plan administrative office and classic staircases.
